Our KS2 children have absolutely ‘wow’ed our staff and families this week with three performances of Kenneth Grahame’s ‘Wind in the Willows’. The children showed off their speech and language skills with clear narrators and expressive performances from those in character. Thanks to all the parents who provided excellent costumes and to Mrs Purdy for fantastic face paints which really added to the scene.
This year, we have had brilliant support from parents who have made and painted some fantastic props to set the scene. We have had a tree, bull rushes, a river scene and even a caravan – thanks to Jillaine, Claire P and Louise J for their creative skills.
